 I have 20 years of translating experience, specializing in the following topics: web sites and contracts of all types, travel and hotels, Marketing and Advertising (especially in the tourism and cosmetics industries), Screenplays, Culinary literature, and the Arts and Design.commercial translation and business english and medical,mechanical and technical (CDplayers) translations.

I frequently collaborate with many multi-national corporations, law offices, accounting studios, film producers, etc. Such working relationships enable my ability to handle specific information and language, including jargon, industry specific terms, and diction.

OUTPUT

On average I produce 3000-5000 words per day. However, this is only a rule of thumb and depends on the complexity of the text to be translated.

Computer: Pentium IV 3 ghz, 2 mirrored hard drives, 120 Gb. 4.8 Mbps High-speed broadband Internet connection,   scanner, fax machine, multifunction printer. Software: MS Office 2007, Acrobat 6.0 Pro. Antivirus: Norton Antivirus 2005.   Adobe reader, PowerPoint

For large projects I use Trados 7.

RATES AND AVAILABILITY

My minimum rate is € 0.4 per source word plus VAT if applicable. Up to €0.8 depending the type of work Minimum charge € 16 by hour. Surcharge of 30% for same-day translations.
